Description: This is a story of God's love, regeneration, hope and healing.
When Rose’s husband committed suicide at their home, she fell into a pit so deep and dark that medical professionals expressed doubts that she would ever recover.
Two years later, Rose was diagnosed with cancer, and during a “minor medical procedure,” she bled to death and had no heart beat for more than 10 minutes.
In heaven, she was told that if she agreed to return to earth, she’d be completely restored to perfect health, physically, emotionally and mentally. As a lovely bonus, her best friend (who’d witnessed her death) was instantly transformed from an avowed atheist to a believer when an angel visited him while he waited in the hospital hallway.
The story of Rose’s “temporary death experience”Remembering The Light: How Dying Saved My Life, is soon to be published and her story has also garnered more than 3 million views on a wide variety of video platforms, including a recently released documentary (Life to Afterlife: Death and Back 2). The predominant comment shared by viewers is, “This is the best NDE story that I’ve ever heard.”
Rosemary Thornton - For 20 years, Rose enjoyed a national reputation in a niche topic on America’s architectural history. She’s the author of The Houses That Sears Built (2002,) Finding the Houses That Sears Built (2004), and The Sears Homes of Illinois (2010), California’s Kit Homes (2004) and Montgomery Wards Mail-Order Homes (2010), and Penniman; Virginia’s Own Ghost City, was published in June 2017. She’s been featured on everything from PBS’s “History Detectives” to BBC Radio.
In 2016, her husband committed suicide and two years later, Rose was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. After a “routine” medical procedure, Rose bled to death, and had no heart beat for more than ten minutes. In heaven, she was greeted by spiritual beings who told her that if she agreed to return to earth, she’d be restored to wholeness.
Subsequently, medical tests affirmed that the disease was gone, and Rose was also healed of the crippling grief. Rose currently lives in the Principia community.
