Description: This workshop will focus on increasing your arsenal for prayer.  This will be an interactive workshop where the participant will explore, learn, and practice new ways to think about and implement prayer in their lives.  During the workshop, new ideas for praying will be shared, different types of prayers will be explained, and different ways to pray will be explored.  Throughout this workshop, you will gain some tools to help support your prayer life.  Come and join us with an open mind willing to share and most importantly an open heart willing to receive some good that will expand your thought and your prayer practice.

Dr. Kathryn Statos, EdD, C.S. (Kathy) is a devoted student of God’s Word. Growing up studying Christian Science, she has seen many miraculous healings for herself, family members, and many others, and all of these healings she attributes to God’s answered prayer.  She understands the importance of her relationship with God, how the connection through prayer brings her closer to God and resolves challenges of any kind.  She also recognizes how praying can  transform a person’s life.  Kathy is an adjunct professor and has a private practice in Austin, Texas.  She is an active member in community affairs, local service organizations, and the arts.
